Cricket BC recommendation to Member Leagues

During the Cricket BC Annual General Meeting held on Saturday, 4th November 2017, following motion were unanimously recommended by the member delegates attended the meeting and is fully endorsed by the Cricket BC Board of Directors.
 
Member Leagues are strongly suggest to follow from 2018 season onwards.
 

 

“Cricket BC as the governing body of the Cricket in British Columbia recommends that ALL Elite, Premier and Division 1 games in their jurisdiction have TWO (2) neutral qualified umpires with atleast Level 1 Certification, to officiate in all matches which are minimum of 20 overs.”

Cricket BC held their Annual General Meeting on 4th Nov'17 at Brockton Pavilion, Stanley Park and following Board of Directors were elected.
 
1st Vice President - Alphonso Franco (Re-Elected by acclamation – 2 years)
Secretary - Mohan Kumar (Re-Elected by acclamation – 2 years)
Members at Large - Junior Co-ordinator - Anil Khanna (Re-Elected by acclamation - 1 year)
Members at Large 1 – Akhtar Nawaz (Re-Elected by acclamation - 1 year)
Members at Large 2 – Sarbjit Gill (Elected by acclamation - 1 year)
Following executives are already serving you.
President – Amjad Bajwa (1 more year)
2nd Vice President – Harjinder Dhillon (1 more year)
Treasurer – Charanjeet Parmar (1 more year)

2017 Inter-Continental Six-a-Side Tournament

Cricket BC Proudly Presents, Inter-Continental Six-A-Side on Monday, September 4th, 2017  @10:00am, at Brockton Pavilion, Stanley Park, BC.
 
Team Registration is still open. Please send an email to Cricket BC (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with Name of the Team (Country Name) and List of 8 Players.
 
Team Registration Fees of $125 have to pay by 30th Aug'17. Payment can be made by eTransfer or by Cheque payable to Cricket BC or by Cash.
 
Individual Players also can send an email to Cricket BC with their Interest in playing for a specific Country with their Phone numbers.
 
If any country has large number of quality applicants, Management Committee may, at its sole discretion, allow any additional team to participate for a particular country.
 
A Maximum of 16 teams will compete in the tournament. Teams will be published on the Cricket BC Facebook and Email will be sent to participants.

Women's Western Championship

Cricket BC, in association with Cricket Canada, will be hosting this years 'Womens Western Cricket Championship' to be held at Upper Brockton Ground & Connaught Park, Vancouver, BC on 5th & 6th Aug 2017.

Teams from the Provinces of British Columbia & Alberta will be participating in this year's edition. The BC Women are ready to defend their title on home soil, competing in three T20 matches.

Saturday, August 5, 2017 - Upper Brockton Oval, Stanley Park 
Match 1: 10:00am start | Match 2: 2:00pm start
Sunday, August 6, 2017 - Connaught Park, 2390 West 10th Avenue 
Match 3: 11:00am start | Trophy Presentation: 4:00pm

 

Spectators are welcome to cheer the BC team on to another Championship !!
