Manager of the Canadian National Men’s Team

It is our pleasure to announce that Alphonso Franco, Cricket BC 1st Vice-President and former VDCA President from Incogs Cricket Club, Victoria, BC, has been appointed as the Manager of the Canadian National Men’s Team, by Cricket Canada. Team leaves on the January 25th, 2018 to South Africa to prepare for play in Namibia in the 6 Nation Qualifiers, countries ending up in the top 2 spots go on the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. The Tournament ends February 16th, 2018 in Namibia. 

Alphonso Franco, a passionate Manager will bring his 40 years of cricket experience to the team. For the last 5 years Franco managed the Colts Cricket Club to a high level of success including winning 2 VISAS Championship and won the Provincial High School Cricket Championship with the Blue Jags, St. Michaels University School Cricket Team.
